FINAL TASK IDEAS

IDEA 1  This story begins with a very popular location for locals in the town to visit as it is a landmark but strangely every time someone takes a photo one member of the group vanishes from the photo but never while there still at that location . 3 friends go to this location as friends to drink and then take a photo and keep having a good night till when they leave on friend realises one of the friends was not in the photo and rushes to the friends house and open the door and there is a close up of their face without seeing what actually happens which would end the 2 and and a half minutes  IDEA 2  This story is a jaw dropping one , it begins with an establishing shot of a sign showing into a small town , then we hear screaming which would make the audience think that someone is in danger but that's not the case its just 2 teens having a good time then tracking of them running through the woods thinking they are in danger but the male finally catches up then flic...

PRELIMINARY TASK - THE NIGHTMARE

Image
https://youtu.be/s0J972iUIjU This film was directed by me, and my wonderful classmate was behind the camera while I got to shout action at him , we had two wonderful actors with orson being our protagonist and Daniel woolam being our killer/Antagonist . it took us roughly about 2-3 weeks and many reshoots after but we were able to get all the shots we needed. After we had collected all our shots came to the hard part , the editing which was a little more difficult as we ran into some issues along the way but with a little guidance from Mr. Armstrong we were able to produce the best film we could  The story begins with the protagonist coming back form golf where we got 2 shots from different angles before he then enters his room and picks up a golf club and starts cleaning it after a long day at the course , he then moves to the bathroom to wash his hands before jumping straight into bed where he goes to sleep and has a bad dream about the killer chasing him down with the sam...

planning for preliminary task - location shots

Image
At first when I had the idea to shoot my film based of a dream I immediately knew I was gonna need a bed to shoot so me and Mr Armstrong went to look around the school and he gave me his opinion of the place and how I could create effect and suspense in the film  I choose this room in  Boarding House at Ellesmere College  as it had only 2 windows which was gonna be useful for me as I dint want much light  I then wanted to play around with my camera angles at the sink which I was able to pull off by some miracle but I did get a shot of the character looking at the mirror and the camera captured it but I didn't use it in my film as I thought it had no meaning behind it and would be pointless  I then came to the thought of the antagonist who needed a weapon and handily the golf club was just standing there to be picked so we looked at the corridor and saw where we could place the camera and how we could be able to get enough lighting for the audience to be a...
