Imran Ismail  Critical Reflection Essay  Advanced Portfolio  How did your research inform your products and the way they use or challenge conventions ? My product upheld some of the codes and conventions of documentary like vox pops and interview with participants (gives us a peek into the mind of the subject whilst also seeking the perspective of others - entertainment, personal identity and education - uses and Grats). RESEARCH: Documentary review : Sports (Air)

  As I want to my final production to be a sports documentary I decided to look at a very recent , very popular high grossing sport documentary . I found the movie Air it is an     American biographical   sports drama film   directed by  Ben Affleck and written  by Alex Convery. The film is based on true events about the origin of   Air Jordan , a basketball shoeline, of which a  Nike  employee seeks to strike a business deal with rookie player  Michael Jordan . It stars  Matt Damon ,  Ben Affleck ,  Jason Bateman ,  Marlon Wayans ,  Chris Messina ,  Chris Tucker  and  Viola Davis .
