My product upheld some of the codes and conventions of documentary like vox pops and interview with participants (gives us a peek into the mind of the subject whilst also seeking the perspective of others - entertainment, personal identity and education - uses and Grats). RESEARCH: Documentary review : Sports (Air)

  As I want to my final production to be a sports documentary I decided to look at a very recent , very popular high grossing sport documentary . I found the movie Air it is an     American biographical   sports drama film   directed by  Ben Affleck and written  by Alex Convery. The film is based on true events about the origin of   Air Jordan , a basketball shoeline, of which a  Nike  employee seeks to strike a business deal with rookie player  Michael Jordan . It stars  Matt Damon ,  Ben Affleck ,  Jason Bateman ,  Marlon Wayans ,  Chris Messina ,  Chris Tucker  and  Viola Davis . A clip of the  opening scene :  the clip begins with a clip showing one of the production company's (Mandalay Pictures)adverts then a montage of clips :  clip of what seems to be new year with 1984 boldly printed this is to introduce the year that the event the documentary is talking about  then a clip of former US president Ronald Reagan who was president in 1984 which could further suggest the year  c
