James Wan who was born 26 February 1977 , is an Australian director, producer, screenwriter and comic book writer. He has primarily worked in the horror genre as the co-creator of the Saw and Insidious franchises and the creator of The Conjuring Universe.Made his first film in 2004 with the saw franchise 

He attended RMIT University; he graduated from RMIT with a Bachelor of Arts in Media in 1998.

Outside of horror, Wan directed Furious 7 , the seventh installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, and the DC Extended Universe superhero films Aquaman and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

REFLECTION :

in this blog I looked at a famous director , I chose him because Iam familiar withhis films and have actually watched a few of them . I found him also very interesting as he was able to make good movies in different genres . I also learned how he films and how he uses his camera shots and angles and Icould use this in my finalproduct to create my best film
